IRC Undernet #Guns Channel Rules:

After several requests and many suggestions I have finally gotten around to listing the "Rules" for the channel.  No one likes rules but in order to try to keep the channel flowing and working well some are needed.  As always I continue to be open to suggestions.  These will also change over time.

• Have fun!! Most of all we are in the channel to have fun and learn!
• Discussions should revolve primarily around the topic of Gun, firearms, ammo and related topics.  Brief lapses into other topics are fine, but long lengthy discussions about cars, computers, politics etc... should be taken elsewhere.   Remember there are probably 10,000 other channels on here.
• Keep it clean!  That means no cursing.  We want this channel to be open to all and to offend none.  Cursing will be responded to with a warning, followed by a kick and then a ban...in that order.
• Take The Racism Somewhere Else.  We are here to offend no one.  If there are complaints about your nick or /whois information you will be asked to change it or leave.  Nuff said.
• Keep it Legal!!  There should be no illegal activities going on in the channel. No sales unless between FFL's.  No planning to murder people. We may hate all the laws, but we know them and in the channel will abide by them.  You can always DCC to talk about other stuff.
• No Lurking!  For those who don't know what that is, it is staying in the channel for extended periods of time without participating.  We do not want a channel full of people saying nothing...it would look like a BOT convention.  Lurking can be defined as 1 hour or more idle time.  Also, not responding to direct repeated questions.  Again, response should be warn,  kick then a ban only if the person has auto-join on.  If you get kicked please don't take it personally!  It is channel policy.
• No Bots! Only bot allowed is X...other then that real people only.   Bots will be banned!
• Easy on the Script files!  Scripts that auto-op people, or auto-kick/ban etc can cause more problems than they are worth.  Those using them will risk being kicked and or banned.
